New Makeup Looks in 5 Minutes

Sultry Neurals

"Soft brown shadows are universally flattering and look modern when worn as a monochromatic smoky eye," says makeup artist Nick Barose.

HOW-TO:

Trace your lash lines with a black pencil like.

"Don't worry if the liner isn't perfectly straight, since you'll be smudging it anyway."

Apply shadow (we like browns from Dior) across lids and under lower lashes, connecting it at the outer corners, says makeup artist Pati Dubroff. Blend well and use one coat of Givenchy's mascara.

A quick dusting of contouring powder creates the illusion of structured cheekbones. Try Mirabella's along with this trick: Suck in your cheeks and brush the powder down the hollow area,

Complete the look with a swipe of  nude lipstick for balance.

HOW TO TURN UP YOUR 'HAIR' VOLUME

Hair Care Tips
TURN UP THE VOLUME

01- The key to a great style is a great foundation. Prep hair with a volumizing shampoo and conditioner for extra body, like Some Naturals Nourishing Moisture Shampoo and Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner.Without a good base, the style will fall flat.

02- For the perfect pompadour, knowing how to add volume is key. To give hair extra lift, prep hair with a volumizing shampoo and conditioner,  Naturals Radiant Volume Shampoo and Naturals Radiant Volume Conditioner. Flip head upside down when blow drying, and use fingers as a brush to create volume and texture. Don’t be afraid to tease!

03-Avoid really heavy conditioners and conditioning styling products when you want to achieve volume. Lightweight, bodifying products will help you get the lift that you crave.

04-Don’t let buildup from previous styling products weigh down your look. Shampoo with a volumizing shampoo before you style your hair for body to remove any excess buildup.

05-Don't neglect to condition your ends. Even if you're going for a lot of body, you still want to moisturize your ends to prevent splitting. If you're worried about conditioner weighing you down, don't apply it to your roots. Instead, start at the middle of the shaft and apply down to the ends.

06-Wearing a hat doesn’t have to mean flat, limp hair for the rest of the day. Wake up those limp strands and go from flat to fantastic in minutes. Only apply conditioner from the middle of the hair shaft down to the ends for extra body at your roots.

HOW TO KEEP YOUR HAIR COLOR

Hair Care Tips

KEEP THE COLOR

Highlights and dyes can damage your hair. Check out our stylists’ hair color ideas and tips to keep your strands vibrant and strong

TIPS

01-- Always use products specifically designed for color-treated hair. Only color-safe products have the technology to help you protect your color and keep it vibrant and fresh.

02-- After you color your hair, wait two or three days (if you can make it) before shampooing to allow the color to absorb completely. If you want to shower, use conditioner in place of shampoo to give extra moisture without stripping the color.

03-- Be especially gentle with color-treated hair—coloring weakens hair and makes it more prone to breakage. Only use covered elastics to tie it back and brush it with a natural bristle brush when it's dry.

04-- Never go swimming without protecting your color. Before going into a pool or the ocean, apply a leave-in conditioner on damp hair to prevent the chemicals and salt from stripping your color.

05-- Don't go to a tanning bed or sit in the sun without covering your hair. The UV rays will react with your color and may alter it or cause it to fade, so cover your hair with a scarf or hat.

06-- Don't forget to condition your hair daily! Colored hair needs extra moisture to keep it soft and smooth.

HOW TO REFRESH YOUR HAIR

Hair Care Tips

REFRESH YOUR HAIR

Learn the tricks to clean hair without water—to keep your tresses fresh and glamorous on the days you need to refresh on the fly.

TIPS

01- Use Some Best Color Care Dry Shampoo to help protect colored hair by washing your hair less, as hot water opens cuticles and can cause color to fade.
02- Volumizing Dry Shampoo is only needed around the roots as oils are produced from the scalp. There is no need to apply to hair shaft.
03- Volumizing Dry Shampoo works on any hair, especially when freshly washed hair is uncalled for. It refreshes hair by removing excess oil, leaving hair voluminous.
04- Dry Shampoo is good for extensions because you don’t want to scrub the scalp when washing as that will cause the tracks to lift and peel. In addition, the detergents in water-based shampoos cause the bonds to break down prematurely.
05- Updos are usually better if your hair hasn't been freshly washed with water. If your hair is a day unwashed, Volumizing Dry Shampoo is the perfect solution.Just a quick spray at the roots will revitalize and refresh your hair for hair that’s rejuvenated.

06- Apply Moisturizing Waterless Foam Shampoo on hair (specifically the hairline) before coloring to absorb excess oil.

07- BEST Fresh Start Moisturizing Waterless Foam Shampoo revives curly hair by removing excess oil leaving your hair refreshed and healthy looking.

08- To add texture and hide grease when you skip shampoos, tease your hair with a paddle brush. Hold a 1-inch section of hair at the crown straight up in the air and then gently brush down toward scalp. Brush the front part of your hair over the crown and finish with hair spray.

09
Bobby pins are your best friend on days you don't wash. Sweep hair away from your face and secure with pins in the center or to one side for an easy, no-fuss style.

10- Don't be afraid to style your hair in a new way when you skip shampooing. The natural oils in your hair will help styles stay put, so try a fun new updo!

11- Don't let creases or cowlicks from sleeping get in your way of a beautiful style. Use a foam shampoo then restyle using heat from a hairdryer or iron.

12- If you want to make your previous day's style last, don't sleep on a jersey or rough cotton pillowcase, which will rough up the cuticle and leave hair full of static. Sleep on a satin or smooth cotton blend pillowcase to keep your style intact.

Hair Care Tips For HEALTHY HAIR

Hair Care Tips  HEALTHY HAIR

Healthy-looking hair is all about strength. Try these simple tips for durable locksso your tresses are ready to take on all the styles you like.

TIPS

01
To prevent breakage, apply some Best Anti-Breakage Shampoo & Anti-Breakage Conditioner in the shower and rinse. Don’t rough dry wet hair out of the shower with a towel as it will damage hair. Instead, blot hair to remove the moisture.

02
Always condition your hair if it's prone to breakage. Conditioning is the best way to give your hair the nourishment it needs to stay strong.

03
Use detangling spray and a wide-tooth comb on damp hair—wet hair is more delicate.

04
If your hair is especially delicate, sleep on a satin pillowcase. Satin won't snag your hair or cause friction like cotton, which can rough up the cuticle of extremely fine hair.

05
Don't use elastics that have metal clasps on them. Always tie up your hair with covered, snag-free elastics.

06
Try not to sleep with your hair tied back. Leave your hair down as often as possible at night to prevent breakage.

07
To prevent frizz, wash hair with Best  Anti-Sponge Shampoo and Anti-Sponge Conditioner to create smooth texture. Getting the right brush is key for frizz-free hair. Invest in a boar-bristle brush with a rubber base to smooth and straighten hair.

08
To prevent breakage, wash hair with Anti-Quiebre Shampoo and Anti-Quiebre Conditioner, which contain proteins that make hair 80% stronger.* Hair is most fragile when it is wet, so after washing, dry hair gently with a towel to absorb excess water. Avoid brushing until most of the moisture has evaporated.
*system vs non-conditioning shampoo

09
If you have really fine hair and are afraid of conditioning, apply conditioner first in the shower and then shampoo your hair. That way, your hair gets the moisture it needs, and you'll get the clean, full-bodied feeling of a fresh shampoo.

10
One way to get healthy-looking hair? Rinse, Rinse, Rinse! Any conditioner left on your hair will weigh it down and won't allow you to get the most optimal style.

11
Never brush your hair with a metal or bristle brush when it's wet. Use a wide-tooth comb or a vent brush on damp hair to prevent breakage.

12
When applying conditioner, focus on the mid-shaft to ends as that is where the most damage is; you don’t need to moisturize the roots.

13
Dry, brittle hair also looks flat and lacking shine. Apply a moisturizing conditioner after you shampoo, making sure to rinse it out well.

14
If your hair is brittle, don't be afraid to lightly rinse conditioner out of your hair — it may benefit from a little conditioner left on your ends.

15
If your hair is fine, don't try to over-condition]— this will only weigh it down. Pick the right conditioner for fine hair to add back moisture.

16
For naturally stronger, healthier-looking hair, make sure you have a balanced diet. Your hair is a reflection of your inner health, so design your eating habits accordingly.

17
Once a week, deep condition your hair to leave it ultra soft and super strong. Apply your usual conditioner all over damp hair and put hair in a shower cap or towel. Leave it on your hair for ten minutes and then rinse thoroughly.

18
After shampooing and conditioning your hair, do a final rinse with cool water to seal the cuticle and leave hair looking extra shiny.

19
Avoid using a brush to detangle hair when it’s wet or damp — use a wide-tooth comb. Hair is more delicate when it’s wet, and a comb is gentler on damp hair than a brush.
