How Do You Do Your Makeup When You're Going to Fashion Week? Part-1

You'll admit it: Even though you'r a beauty editor, my makeup could not be more boring.

Each morning You spend exactly seven minutes applying tinted moisturizer, pink blush, black liner, and a few coats of mascara. The result is pretty enough, but it's exactly the same. Every. Single. Day.

Skip ahead to see how I'm doing my makeup and how to get the look.

So you've come up with a look that's fun, and you'r using products that are proven to stay put. What do you think -- will the pros be impressed?

Start with  cream, concealer, and powder

Start with cream, concealer, and powder
Before You reach for any other makeup,  always apply Some best cream. Makeup artists often refer to this step as "prepping the canvas," and they do it for good reason. I focus the color on my nose, chin, the center of my forehead, and the tops of  cheeks. This gets rid of redness and discoloration without making you feel like You'll wearing a full face of makeup.

Then, apply concealer under my eyes, around my nose, and anywhere I have a breakout. And to lock it all in place and keep it from creasing, use a large brush to dust loose powder all over.

The key products

During Fashion time, you need products with a good amount of coverage, as well as SPF and moisture since I'll be outside between shows. I love Natural Finish Cream, because it has SPF , leaves your skin feeling dewy, and covers  freckles better than a tinted moisturizer. Plus, the texture is so blendable, and it has added skin care ingredients.

I've always had a little complex about having downturned eyes, but fortunately it's easy enough to "correct" with eyeliner. A stroke of black gel liner along my lashes with a subtle upward-sweeping cat-eye shape makes all the difference. Suddenly, You look more awake.

You'll layer the liner over basic beige eyeshadow. I'm not particularly adventurous with shadow colors, and  want your look to go with whatever outfit you decide to wear each day. Then, You'll finish it off with a few coats of volumizing mascara -- top lashes only.

The key products

You can't stress this enough: When you want your eye makeup to last, eye primer is a necessity. Make Up For Ever Eye Prime,  feels like almost nothing when you put it on, but somehow it manages to make makeup look perfect for three times longer than usual. You can layer a dark, smoky color

Bobbi Brown Longwear Gel Eyeliner,  is another must-have for Fashion .
